In 2009, South Metro Health Alliance was created by Immigrant Pathways Colorado to address a wide variety of healthcare needs in under and uninsured populations in Arapahoe and Douglas counties.  Today, SMHA serves as a central resource for healthcare access and education in these communities. Our board believes that community health begins prior to the discovery of illness through preventative care and whole-person wellness development.  We seek to improve the quality of life in our community by addressing the areas of greatest need through advocacy and education.
